After the Wizzfest festival Blaze Bayley had a show in the Spirit of 66, so i decided to go check it out. You can read the review of the gig on metalkrant.nl (Dutch), but needless to say, it was awesome.

Blues legend Eddy "The Chief" Clearwater is alive and well, still touring after all these years. This 76 year old guitar hero toured through Holland this year, and he also made a stop in Belgium.

Festivals! I love them, big ones, small ones, summer or winter, it's all good. The second festival of 2011 was the Wizzfest festival. This festival, which takes place in Aalter, Belgium is organized by the Belgian band 'Wizzard', who were also on the line-up.

A while ago a friend told me that Fury UK would be playing in the Grand Canyon bar in Nazareth. I knew they were going to play at Wizzfest, so I decided to go check them out.
