On May 20th 2012 legendary Rock band Nazareth visited Belgium on their 2012 Tour in venue Sport- en cultuurcentrum Zomerloos in Gistel. Supporting them were Belgian bands 'All I Know' and 'Revenge 88'.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of going to the Ramrock festival in Ramsel, Belgium. My friends from Fireforce were headlining the festival and I decided to cover this little festival for Metalchroniques. You can read the review here (French).

A while ago I had the chance to see one of the try-outs of Maiden UniteD for metalchroniques (French review) in the Boerderij in Zoetermeer and it was great!

Michael Schenker is somewhat of a legend. This guitar virtuoso started playing with the Scorpions at the age of 17 and played on many of their most famous hits. Not only that, but he also played with another iconic band, UFO, where he played on the brilliant Doctor Doctor. Michael however also had many downs with alcoholism and personal problems.

The 5th of May I went to see the late Michael Burks live for what turn out to be his very last gig. This blues legend put down an excellent show and will not be forgotten.
Michael "Iron Man" Burks was a great person and musician whom passed away too soon.

A while ago, Eric Sardinas paid a visit to the Boerderij in Zoetermeer during his 2012 tour. Eric Sardinas is a brilliant slide guitarist & blues musician, whom every Blues & Rock lover should discover.
Opening for Eric Sardinas was the Jon Amor Blues Group, formed by Jon Amor whom used to play with the award-winning Brittish band The Hoax.
